provides you a very helpful tool in the form of a Diabetes Diary. Diabetes Diary
is an interactive tool for diabetic patients to keep a record of their test report,
medical history and prescribed medicines and share the same with their concerned
doctors online. Patients can also get their doctor's opinion through this diary.
To use this diary, you will need to register yourself and then you can create your
complete medical report file.

You can choose from two installation options –
Manual
and Automatic. But before you choose any of these, you will first need to accept
the Terms of Use
and Privacy Policy
of this application.
Manual Installation:
1. Click on the Manual Installation button below.
2. Enter the email address you will be using for all correspondence purposes. Then
select the country of your residence and click Continue.
3. Once you have done this, you will receive your password at the email address
provided.
4. Before you go any further you will need to download and install
AIR Environment
on your computer. For this, select the AIR installation according to the operating
system (Windows or MAC) you use on your machine.
5. After the AIR setup is downloaded, double click on its icon on you desktop (or
the folder where you have downloaded it) and follow the installation steps.
6. Next click "Download and Install Diabetes Diary". When it is
done, double click its icon on you desktop (or the folder where you have downloaded
it) and follow the installation steps.
Automatic Installation:
1. Click on the
Automatic Installation button below.
2. Enter the email address which you will be using for all correspondence purposes.
Then select the country of your residence and click Continue.
3. Once you have done this, you will receive your password at the email address
provided.
4. Follow the steps in the installer. It will detect the availability of AIR Environment
on you machine automatically and install it if it is not available. After that it
will download and install the Diabetes Diary on your machine. |

1. When you open your diary for the first time, you need to enter the email id (which
you used during installation) and password (sent to you by email).
2. After your first login, you will have the option to change your password so that
you can select your own password that is easy for you to remember.
3. You will also have an option to save your Email ID and Password in the application
so that you do not have to type it again.
4. On your first login, you will need to register yourself with the Diabetes Diary
by filling the Registration form. Please fill this as accurately
as you can.
5. After Registration, you can fill in your Treatment Details and
Lab Reports (date wise). You can Add, Edit and Remove your Lab
Reports in the Diary any time.
6. When you wish to send your Lab Reports to your doctor or you want to consult
your doctor for opinion, click on "Contact My Doctor".
7. Select the Date Range and press OK (lab reports of the selected
date range will be sent to your doctor).
9. This will send an email to your doctor containing a link to your report data.
The doctor will view your reports, put in his comments and send it back.
10. You will then receive an email containing a link where you can view the doctor's
comments.
11. When you receive an opinion from your doctor, it will be saved in Previous
Opinions section and you can view it any time.
Note: You need to be connected
to Internet while Logging In and Sending Reports to your doctor. |

1. Data Recovery – If you uninstall your diary or it gets removed
by mistake, it gives you an option to recover your data on next installation. This
means that you never loose your reports, medical history and your doctor's previous
opinion even after the diary is uninstalled.
2. Communication with any doctor – You can communicate about your
disease and treatment with any doctor by specifying his email address in Send
Report window. He does not need any specific software loaded to view
your reports.
3. Change Password – You can change the password of your diary
anytime to ensure more privacy and security of your data.
4. View Reports Anywhere - You can view your reports and your doctor's
comments on any computer any where in the world linked to the internet by just clicking
on the links that you receive in you email. This does not require Diabetes Diary
application installed on that machine. |
